Canary Islands are a group of 7 main Islands (Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, La Gomera, El Hierro and La Palma) and 6 smaller islands. The arcipelago is an autonomus region of Spain and it is located in Athlantic Ocean 55MN West of Marocco coastline.

Canary Islands are a vulcanic formation of islands (Taide vulcano, in Tenerife is 3.718m high) they are also characterized by mild climate all the year.

If you are looking for lunar landscapes and vulcanic beaches, with clear sky water, then Canary Islands is you next destination! These fascinating islands with their mild climate even at winter time reppresent a valid escape from the European winter. Temperature are tropical during the summer time. The geographis position of these islands allow to Alisei winds from Athlantic to mitagate their climate during all seasons. This destination is also ideal to explore by yacht given the number of moorings available ad the number of beaches and wild creeks not reachable by land.

The seven main island are all different one form another offering a various range of turistic attractiveness. Cristal clear sea water, various beaches of golden sand or black sand, desertic dunes and lunar landscapes makes these islands a unique enviroment to find so close to Europe. Tenerife, the main island is divided in two by the Taide Vulcano, the north is ideal for a relaxing holiday with its clear beaches. In the South of the island instead there some more lively locations as Playa de Las Americas with a series of black beaches contrasting the clear sea water.

Gran Canaria is also called the “miniature continent” provided the variety of landscapes available and climate conditions. On the East side the island is made of a flat land, characterized by sand dunes and long beaches. On the West side we can see a more rocky scenery.

Lanzarote is the closest island to Africa continent, with similar scenario to the Sahara desert with lava formations, which made the island a paradise for those interested in exploration and trekking walks.

Fuerteventura is the windsurfer paradise, with constant winds and long beaches with golden sand.

La Gomera, El Hierro and La Palma offer wilder landscapes with a fewer attractions making these islands the perfect place for more relaxing holidays, away from the more turistic sites. Canary are also easily rechable with direct flights from the main European cities as London, Paris, Rome and Berlin.
